Legal Nurse Consulting
Medical records expertise built from the inside out.
Most legal nurse consultants read medical records. I built the systems that generate them — as a Registered Nurse and Healthcare IT Analyst, I understand not just what the record says, but how it was created, modified, and stored.
The Clinical, IT & Forensics Advantage
Most legal nurse consultants read medical records. I built the systems that generate them.
With master's degrees in information security and IT management — and hands-on forensic training in documentation analysis and statement interpretation — I bring capabilities no standard LNC can offer.
At the clinical level, I bring direct bedside experience across patient care settings, giving me the foundation to evaluate standard of care, nursing judgment, and clinical decision-making from the inside — not as an observer, but as a practicing nurse who has lived those moments in real time.
At the technical level, I identify what the record doesn't show: system-generated entries that conflict with clinical narrative, timestamp anomalies indicating after-the-fact documentation, EHR audit trail discrepancies, and workflow deviations invisible to anyone without Healthcare IT experience.
At the forensic level, I analyze how the record was written — applying linguistic and statement analysis principles to clinical notes, intake documentation, and nursing entries to surface inconsistencies that traditional review misses entirely.
The details that win cases aren't always in the chart. Sometimes they're in the metadata. Sometimes they're in the language. I look at all of it — and I have the clinical, technical, and forensic background to know what I'm seeing.
