Forensic nursing sits at the intersection of clinical medicine and the justice system. Where a standard medical expert testifies to diagnosis and treatment, a forensic nurse consultant analyzes the full clinical picture — injury patterns, documentation integrity, behavioral health context, cause of harm, and the consistency between what happened and what was recorded.
For attorneys handling complex medical cases, that distinction is often the difference between a record that supports your theory and one that undermines it.

Forensic Record Analysis
Clinical documentation reviewed through a forensic lens — inconsistencies, omissions, timeline conflicts, and narrative shifts identified, explained, and translated into findings your legal team can use.

Clinical evaluation of wound characteristics, mechanism of injury, and injury documentation — determining whether physical findings are consistent with the stated cause in trauma, abuse, neglect, or motor vehicle cases.

EHR Forensic Examination — Technical review of electronic health record audit trails, access logs, and modification history. The metadata layer of a record often tells a different story than the visible documentation, and most consultants lack the IT background to read it.
Statement & Documentation Analysis — Forensic linguistic review of clinical notes, intake statements, and nursing documentation — identifying language patterns that indicate omission, post-event reconstruction, or coached documentation. Trained in the McClish framework.

COLD CASE & UNRESOLVED CASE REVIEW
Some cold cases don’t need another theory. They need another examination of the evidence.
Unresolved cases often accumulate evidence without ever receiving an independent clinical-forensic review. Through my work with Florida Unsolved, I review selected cold cases, unresolved and suspicious deaths, and potential wrongful convictions through the combined lenses of clinical medicine, forensic evidence, documentation analysis, and chronology.
The objective is not to manufacture a new theory. It is to return to the evidence with as few assumptions as possible: establish what is known, separate observation from inference, identify contradictions and evidentiary gaps, and determine which questions remain unanswered.
CLINICAL-FORENSIC REVIEW MAY INCLUDE
Scope. This is clinical-forensic case review and consultation provided as a registered nurse. It does not include private investigative services requiring Florida licensure, such as surveillance, locating persons, or witness investigation for hire, and I do not represent myself as a Florida-licensed private investigator. Findings that warrant further investigation are referred to law enforcement or an appropriately licensed investigator.
